There was a recent upgrade that added another layer of security to the check printing process. If you used to be able to cut checks, and can no longer do so, you may be missing a phone number in your profile.
A phone number is needed in order to be able to reset your password.
If you're an Administrator, you can access your profile in Accounting, under Administration and User Management. Find your profile and add a phone number, preferably a cell phone as you will need to be able to receive text messages.
If you're not an Administrator, you're unable to edit your profile. You can contact a Manager or Supervisor to have this added.
Once the phone number is added, a Manager or Supervisor will need to go under Settings / Roles & Permissions / Special Permissions, and add you as an authorized user to Print Checks.
