What It Is
Locations are a digital map of maintainable spaces (guest rooms, common areas).
Why It Matters
- Locations are the foundation of the module: every Work Order or Preventative Maintenance needs a location.
- Reports are organized by location
- Assets must belong to a location
Two Ways to Manage
Entity Settings → Locations Tab (best for initial setup & bulk edits)
Facilities > Locations (day-to-day use)

Features
- Guest rooms auto-created from room counts if already available
- Common areas must be added manually
- Detail view shows:
- Work orders (open/completed)
- Associated PM schedules
- Linked assets
- History log
Best Practices
- Use Entity Settings for initial setup
- Use template for bulk edits
- Name consistently (Room 101, Pool, Fitness Center)
- Add subtypes for reporting (King Room, Lobby, Outdoor Pool)
