Creating a Procedure
Navigate to Facilities > Procedures.
Click New Procedure.
Add details:
- Name
- Scope (Global vs. Property-specific)
- Type (Location or Asset)
- Tasks (use action verbs like Check, Clean, Replace)
Example Procedure
Quarterly Room Maintenance
- Replace HVAC filter
- Test smoke detector
- Inspect bathroom fan
- Deep clean carpet
- Check plumbing leaks
Editing a Procedure
Click on a Procedure to Edit, Inactivate, Delete, or Duplicate a Procedure. You can also add and delete subtasks as needed.
Best Practices
- Start with 5–10 common procedures
- Use seasonal variations (e.g., Winter HVAC vs. Summer Pool)
- Keep detailed enough for new hires to follow
