Payroll Export shows how many prior payrolls have not been exported. You should only ever have 1 Payroll to be Exported, which is the previous payroll cycle. If additional payrolls appear, be sure to Export these to remove them from your Labor Overview. Having payrolls outstanding affects PTO from being automatically awarded.
To get to the payroll page, either click the Payroll Export button at the top, or Payroll on the left menu.
The Payroll page is the final step of the payroll process.
This shows the pay period at the top, along with the total number of hours and overtime hours.
The user details on this page show their name, whether the user is Salaried or Hourly, the employee code, number of rooms cleaned, and hours worked.
IF PRO TIP: Keep in mind that the columns that show on this page can be customized from the Settings / Payroll Processor page.
For any employee that works multiple positions, their name, positions and hours worked will show accordingly.
IF PRO TIP: This value should never be greater than 1, which is the previous cycle that just ended.
Not exporting payrolls can be a red flag, and it also affects PTO calculations. Please ensure that all pay cycles, with exception to the current one, have been exported.
You can click on the Payroll Export box to be redirected to the Payroll page.
In order to add additional pay, click on the employee name.
IF PRO TIP: This page is also customized in the Settings / Payroll Processor page.
Add any additional wages if needed.
At the bottom of this page is where tips can also be added if they weren’t already added from the Tip Entry page.
Be sure to Save once all updates are made.
On the top right of the page is where we can Export Payroll…Once Export Payroll is selected, payroll is finalized, and the file is emailed to the users setup to receive the file.
