What It Is 

Reusable checklists and task templates for maintenance.


Why It Matters 

  • Ensures consistency 
  • Saves time by reusing templates 
  • Provides training guidance for new staff 




Creating a Procedure 

  1. Navigate to Facilities > Procedures. 

  1. Click New Procedure. 



  1. Add details: 

  • Name 
  • Scope (Global vs. Property-specific) 
  • Type (Location or Asset) 
  • Tasks (use action verbs like Check, Clean, Replace) 



Example Procedure 


Quarterly Room Maintenance 

  • Replace HVAC filter 
  • Test smoke detector 
  • Inspect bathroom fan 
  • Deep clean carpet 
  • Check plumbing leaks 


Editing a Procedure


Click on a Procedure to Edit, Inactivate, Delete, or Duplicate a Procedure. You can also add and delete subtasks as needed.




Best Practices 

  • Start with 5–10 common procedures 
  • Use seasonal variations (e.g., Winter HVAC vs. Summer Pool) 
  • Keep detailed enough for new hires to follow
