Overview


This guide will walk you through the steps to add transfer transactions directly from the Bank Sync page. This new feature allows you to efficiently manage transfer transactions, ensuring accuracy and ease of use.


Steps to Add a Transfer Transaction via Bank Sync:

Step 1: Navigate to the Bank Sync Page

  1. Log in to your Inn-Flow account

  2. Go to the Banking section and select Bank Sync


Step 2: Initiate a Transfer

  1. On the Bank Sync page, find the bank transaction you wish to create a transfer for.

  2. Click the Add button associated with the transaction.


Step 3: Select Transfer Option

  1. From the dropdown menu, choose Transfer.


Step 4: Fill Out Transfer Details

  1. A transfer slideout will appear for you to enter the details of the transfer.



Step 5: Transfer Date

  1. The Transfer Date field will automatically default to the date of the bank transaction. Ensure this date is correct.


Step 6: Amount

  1. The Amount field will reflect the bank transaction amount. 


Step 7: Account Matching

  1. For deposits, the TO side Account field will automatically match the account displayed on the Bank Sync page.

  2. For withdrawals, the FROM side Account field will automatically match the account displayed on the Bank Sync page.


Step 8: FROM Section Amount

  1. Ensure the amount in the FROM section matches the bank transaction amount.


Step 9: Type Field

  1. The Type field will be set to Manual ACH and will be grayed out. 


Step 10: Save the Transfer

  1. Review all the details to ensure they are accurate.

  2. Click Save to complete the transfer transaction.

Additional Feature: Adding Draft Transactions In addition to adding transfers, users also can add draft transactions.
