Daily Activity Workflow

Daily Activity is the area of Inn-Flow Accounting where each hotel's nightly financial results are recorded and tracked. This is where night audit data – the end-of-day totals your property management system (PMS) produces after the business day closes – is entered, mapped, and monitored. Daily Activity is made up of four pages, each covering one part of the workflow.

The Four Daily Activity Pages

• Daily Activity Entry – Where night audit information is entered and stored. This is the main page for recording each day's room revenue (income from selling guest rooms), occupancy, and other daily figures.

• Rate Code Mapping – Where rate codes are created and linked to different segments so revenue can be tracked more precisely (for example, by corporate, group, or leisure business).

• Daily Activity Status – Where you view the entry status across multiple locations, so you can confirm every property is staying caught up.

• PMS Mapping – Where you view each hotel's PMS posting codes and see where those codes are routed within Inn-Flow.

To open any of these pages, navigate to Accounting, then Daily Activity, and select the page you need.
