Reports update every time the Dashboard refreshes, which happens whenever an order is placed. There is no fixed reporting schedule – each new order triggers a refresh, so your spend reports always reflect current purchasing activity.
This is why the reports are described as real-time: rather than waiting for an overnight or weekly batch, you see spend, budgets, and the Checkbook update as orders come through.
