The Payroll page is the final step of the payroll process, where you review each employee's hours, add any additional pay, and export payroll to your payroll provider. Before you begin, go to the Labor Overview page and confirm that all days have been approved.
Review the Payroll Page
Depending on your view, you can sort employees alphabetically or by position worked (which groups each position together).
The Payroll page shows the pay period at the top, along with the total number of hours and overtime hours.
Below that, the user details show the username, whether the user is Salaried or Hourly (S/H), the employee code, the number of rooms cleaned, and hours worked.
You can also change how the page looks for yourself. Click the icon in the top-right of the section to remove or add columns. For example, the EmpCode may matter less to you than viewing Tips or Bonuses – customize this section to work best for you.
For any employee who works multiple positions, their name, positions, and hours worked per position display together, as shown below.
Add Additional Pay
To add additional pay, click the employee's name. This page is also customized in the Settings, then Payroll Processor page.
Add any Differential, Bonus, Retroactive, or other wages as needed. At the bottom of this page you can also add tips if they were not already entered from the Tip Entry page. Be sure to select Save Changes to return to the Payroll page.
Export Payroll
In the top-right of the page you can Export Payroll, or use the ellipsis to add a user or export the current sheet to Excel.
Add User lets you enter dollar amounts directly into the screen. If you need to add time instead, go to the Timesheets page and add the punches per day for the user. You can Export the current sheet to Excel if you want to keep a copy for reference, but this step is not required.
The final step is Export Payroll. Once you select it, payroll is finalized and the file is emailed to the users set up to receive it under Settings, then Payroll Processor.
Partial Pay Period Export
You can run a partial pay period export if you need to export a single user during a pay period – for example, when someone is terminated and you need to export their time for a final paycheck.
On the Payroll page there are checkboxes next to each user's name. You cannot select a user who is currently clocked in; if they are clocked in, go to Labor Overview, then Full Time Clock and perform a Force Punch Out first.
Check the box to the left of the user's name.
Select the Export Payroll button in the top-right of the Payroll page. Only the selected user(s) will appear on the payroll export document.
If you need to export a salaried employee, first select their name and update the number of hours they should be paid in the slide-out, as shown below. Once updated, complete the partial pay out as described above.
