How Do I Use the UKG Payroll Export?

Inn-Flow can export a payroll file that plugs directly into the UKG payroll provider. Set the export up using the field specifications below.

  • Employee/Entity Identifier – Combine the employee ID and entity ID in a single field, separated by a dash (for example, 000201903-VNOR1). Add the three leading zeros in front of each employee identifier before exporting. Update each user's ID in their user profile under Entity Wide Settings.

  • Payroll End Date – The date the payroll period ends (for example, 08/24/2024).

  • Pay Codes – The code for each pay type. Examples: REG (Regular), HJOT (OT), PTO (Salary Employee PTO), and PTOH (Hourly Employee PTO).

  • Hours – Hours worked, to two decimals (for example, 8.99).

  • Blanks – There will be seven blank columns after the hours and before the position.

  • Department – Update the Inn-Flow Departments and Positions page to account for UKG's mapping of a short-hand and long-form code for each position. This field populates two columns in the export.

    • Enter a comma-delimited value so the export separates it into two columns (for example, RMS = ROOMS; FD = FD; FB = FB; POM = POM; AGDCI = AGDCI).

    • If there is no comma-separated value, the field value is duplicated into both columns.
