Tips For Using Your Time Clock

Below are helpful tips for your Time Clock that may resolve common issues you are experiencing.

  1. Ensure the iPad's Home Button is on the left side within the case. (10th and 11th generation iPads have no Home Button and can be mounted either way.)

2. Make sure the time clock is in a well-lit location. Small, dark rooms do not allow for quality pictures or facial recognition.

3. Employees should position themselves in the middle of the screen when punching in or out.

4. The camera picks up any face in view, so point it toward an area with minimal foot traffic. Remove any posters with faces on them from the camera's view.

5. The time clock works best on a wired internet connection, as hotel internet can be spotty. If you must use Wi-Fi, ask your ISP (Internet Service Provider) about whitelisting the iPad to avoid splash pages and keep a consistent connection.

If these tips still result in a low match percentage for specific employees, they may need to retake their profile picture. Contact Inn-Flow Support to have this completed.
