Every hotel has an Abbreviated Hotel Name field on its entity management page. An entity is a single hotel or property set up in Inn-Flow. This field controls how the hotel's name is displayed on your Dashboards, and it is limited to 20 characters – useful for keeping long property names readable in dashboard columns.
Set the Abbreviated Hotel Name
Navigate to Administration, then Entities, and select the hotel you wish to edit. After the Entity ID field you will find the Abbreviated Hotel Name field. Enter the display name you want (up to 20 characters).
Display the Abbreviated Name on Dashboards
From the Dashboard tab, select the module and the tab you want – for example, Accounting, then Daily Flash.
In the column header selector on the top right of the page, change the Column Configuration from EHID (Entity Hotel ID, Inn-Flow's unique identifier for each property) to Hotel Name.
3. In the triple-dot menu on the top right, select Save as Default if you want the page to open this way going forward.
Follow the same steps on each of the other Dashboard pages so they all open showing the Hotel Name in the future.
