The Repeating page is the central place to review, search, and edit repeating entries across your accounts. It also reflects repeating transactions created elsewhere in the system (Register and Journal Entries).
Accessing and Viewing Repeating Transactions
- Navigate to the Repeating page.
- Use the dropdown list to choose which repeating transactions you want to view:
- Bank Accounts
- Credit Card Accounts
- Journal Entries
- After selecting an option, you’ll see that account’s repeating transactions list.
Searching and Filtering
To find a specific repeating transaction:
- Click into the Filter Transactions box.
- Start typing a search term (e.g., vendor name, memo text, amount, etc.—based on what your system supports).
- Optionally filter results by date:
- 30 days
- 60 days
- 90 days
- Custom date range
Expanding Entries to See Details
You can view more details in a few ways:
Expand/Collapse all entries
- Click Expand All to open every entry and show more detail.
- Click Collapse All to return to a single-line view.
Expand a single entry
- Click the caret next to an entry to expand just that transaction.
Open the slide-out detail panel
- Click the entry row to open a slide-out view of that repeating transaction.
- This slide-out is also where you can edit the entry.
Adjusting the Display (Wide vs. Narrow)
On the Repeating page:
- Click the gear icon on the right side.
- Select Wide or Narrow view.
Note: This setting controls the height of the rows in the repeating transaction list.
Creating a New Repeating Entry
Repeating entries are created from other pages, and they will automatically appear on the Repeating page.
Create from the Register page
- Go to the Register.
- Under Withdrawal, Deposit, or Transfer, create the transaction.
- Select Repeating at the top to make it a repeating entry.
Create a repeating journal entry
- Go to the Journal Entry page.
- Create the entry.
- Select Repeating at the top to ensure it’s saved as a repeating entry.
